Georgia will release her new album ‘Euphoric’ on July 28th.
The English artist has released two stellar albums – 2015’s self-titled effort, and 2020 follow-up ‘Seeking Thrills’ – each acting as testimony to her staunch independence. For her third album, however, Georgia decided to shake things up.
One-time Vampire Weekend musician turned super-produced Rostam caught hold of her music, and DM’d to say how much he liked it. Ever the imperious sort, Georgia got on a plane to Los Angeles, and the two started sketching out new material.
Due this summer, her third album ‘Euphoria’ features 10 all-new tracks, with Georgia commenting:
“I wanted an adventure! Being a self-produced musician, it’s easy to get stuck on one thing or in one place.”
Set to play an intimate live show at London’s Omeara on April 20th, Georgia has also shared the sort-of-title-track ‘It’s Euphoric’. A blazing dose of electronic energy with added pop appeal, it’s a fine marker for where she might go next.
