Genesis Owusu has shared plans for his new album ‘STRUGGLER’.
The genre-breaking artist made his bow in 2021, sharing remarkable full length project ‘Smiling With No Teeth’ to widespread acclaim. At the time, Clash went deep with the Ghanaian-Australian artist, unpicking his roots in our Foundations series.
The auteur makes his next step with ‘STRUGGLER’, which is slated to land on August 18th via OURNESS / AWAL. Sessions took place in the United States and Australia, with Genesis working alongside original producers, Andrew Klippel and Dave Hammer, and guests Jason Evigan, Mikey Freedom Hart, and Sol Was.
