Leeds reformed post-punk legends Gang Of Four are set to release their first new single in 13 years when “Second Life” hits the shops on June 16th.
Released via their own Gang Of Four Recordings Inc. imprint, the single is the band’s first in 13 years. Gang Of Four were recently reduced to two original members, with Andy Gill and Jon King set to be augmented by new drummer Mark Heaney and bassist Gail Ann Dorsey.
Andy Gill and Jon King were the creative hub of the original line up, and were the only two original members involved when Gang Of Four originally reformed in the mid 90s. The group are set to play a UK date as part of the Massive Attack curated Meltdown Festival.
“Second Life” will be released on June 16th. Gang Of Four are set to play the following UK date:
