Brownswood backed producer Gang Colours is set to release new track ‘Fancy Restaurant’ on February 20th.
Gang Colours seemed to come straight out of the left field. Snapped up by Brownswood on the recommendation of Ghostpoet, the producer’s music chops together a massive array of influences.
Assembling the pieces with a rare coherency, debut EP ‘In Your Gut Like A Knife’ embraced numerous possibilities. Now Gang Colours has confirmed plans to release new material, with ‘Fancy Restaurant’ due on February 20th.
Brownwood will again handle the release, which is taken from the Southampton producer’s upcoming full length. ‘Fancy Restaurant’ continues the down tempo theme, with the slight reggae vibe matched by snippets of distorted piano and a soulful vocal.
Out on February 20th, ‘Fancy Restaurant’ comes back with a video directed by Samuel Craven which pits the original track against oddly moving Super-8 images of the South Coast.
