A titanic punk force, Gallows recently went back into the studio to work on album #4.
Sealing off new material, the band have now confirmed plans for its release. ‘Desolation Sounds’ will be available from April 13th, via Gallows’ own Venn Records (in conjunction with PIAS).
Named after a body of water in Wade McNeil’s native Canada, it was recorded with Steve Sears at Titan Studios, Watford. Laurent 'Lags' Barnard explains that this is "the record I've dreamt about making."
"I think the album sounds really fearless. It's the sound of a band that's comfortable with playing music together, rather than trying to fit into a certain scene or zeitgeist or any preconceived notion of what the band should be. We just ignored the outside music world and made an album that felt good in our guts."
Out on April 13th, ‘Desolation Sounds’ will be preceded by new single ‘Bonfire Season’. Check out the video now:
