Gallows Single Update

New short film revealed

British hardcore punk group Gallows are set to return soon with their long awaited single ‘The Vulture (Act II)’ on April 20th.

Centred on the intense figure of Frank Carter, Gallows released their debut album ‘Orchestra Of Wolves’ in 2007. Becoming a word of mouth success hype around the album snowballed until the band were capable of storming the Top 40 whilst still on an independent label.

A bidding war followed as major labels circled the group. Intent on keeping their own identity, Gallows eventually signed with Warner Brothers in a massive deal. Since then, the band have been working on their forthcoming album ‘Grey Britain’.

Inspired by life in Britain today, the album is a savage blast at closed minds. Undoubtedly Gallows most assured work to date, ‘Grey Britain’ was recorded in London with producer GGGarth Richardson at the helm. Also responsible for albums by Biffy Clyro and Rage Against The Machine the result is an album that is deeper, heavier and downright nastier than anything the group have released before.

Forthcoming single ‘The Vulture (Act II)’ will be the first opportunity fans will get to gorge themselves on new material. A blast of sonic energy, the single will be accompanied by a new video which will form part of a four song half hour movie.

Written and co-directed by singer Frank Carter, the film was realised by Adam Powell and deals visually with many of the themes that dominate ‘Grey Britain’.
