Berlin based producer Gabriel Gifford has broken cover, sharing details of upcoming mini-album ‘Hailstone King’. An eight-track project, it blends his world-building capabilities with a strong desire to collaborate.
Out shortly, the project is teased with inquisitive new track ‘Voice From The Wind’. The new single blends Gabriel Gifford’s production work with vocals from Greek aesthete Aphty Khéa, the vocals moving from a whisper to a confrontational incantation.
Sung in their native Greek, the aim is to “explore a feeling of premonition. Something carnal brewing inside before it’s even conscious… I knew there was an empowered aggression and darkness we could explore together, which ended up feeling very cathartic.”
