Future Loop Foundation aka electronic wunderkind Mark Barrott, is set to release their first album in over 8 years when “The Fading Room: Memories” hits the shelves on April 28th.
Since the epic “Phunk Roc” album in 1999, Future Loop Foundation has been, well, out of the loop. Honing his craft somewhere in the North of England, the intervening years saw only the release of the coveted “Scratch & Sniff EP”. Now returning with a fascinating new work, Mark Barrott has used vocal samples taken from decades-old interviews with his own family.
A unique mixture of the public and personal, the up beat and low-key, “The Fading Room: Memories” is a fascinating document by a talented producer.
“The Fading Room: Memories” is released on April 28th.
Future Loop Foundation are also set to play a handful of live dates, including the following:
April 15th – Sensoria Festival, Sheffield
April 29th – The Roxy, Prague, Czech Republic
