Fridayy will release his self-titled debut album later this month.
The much-hyped R&B star won attention last year, sharing his excellent ‘Lost In Melody’ EP. Infusing R&B with gospel and deft production aspects – including a dose of afrobeats – the material highlighted an artist working in their own lane.
Out on August 25th, his self-titled debut album follows a flurry of emphatic single. Chris Brown featured on ‘Don’t Give It Away’, while his soaring ‘When It Comes To You’ made clear his debt to the gospel sounds of his youth.
