Free Love have shared new song ‘Open The Door’.
The Glasgow based proposition craft truly psychedelic disco hymns, their bubbling electronics intermingling with meditative tendencies.
Signing to Lost Map, the duo will release new album ‘INSIDE’ on February 24th. An audacious 10 tracker, it’ll be launched with a special Celtic Connections performance at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on February 5th, as part of a Lost Map all-dayer.
New song ‘Open The Door’ leads the way, with its twinkling analogue electronics spiralling up into the heavens. Recalling some lost Italo Disco side or even the groundbreaking work of Yellow Magic Orchestra, Free Love stand apart from their peers thanks to dogged originality.
Online now, it’s a song about “coming back to the centre after spiralling too far and recognising you’re not the only person wondering what’s going on…”
