UK producer Fred again… has teamed up with Swedish House Mafia for new single ‘Turn On The Lights again…’
The beat maker is perhaps best known as a collaborator, having worked on projects with everyone from Stormzy and Headie One through to BTS, via Brian Eno. His own artist work is well worth seeking out, whether that’s his fondness for abstraction or an innate ability to release summer-defining bangers.
Speaking of which…
New track ‘Turn On The Lights again…’ is a fiery return, melding together house, arena-level EDM, and aspects of UK garage. Built around a sample from Stateside rap icon Future, the initial sketch was built into a demo, with Fred again… playing it to Swedish House Mafia.
The trio – Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso – amplify the UK artist’s work, and this conversation results in something almost tailor-made to rip the roof off festival tents around Europe.
The artwork features a snap from his recent Boiler Room broadcast, while ‘Turn On The Lights again…’ has swiftly gone viral on social media – Paris Saint Germain even used it in a high profile signing video.
Tune in now.
