Fräulein Unveil ‘Breezy’ Visuals In Full

They hit London tonight (June 7th)...

Bristol based duo Fräulein have shared their 'Breezy' visuals in full.

The band have Irish and Dutch roots, but came together during their time in Bristol, inspired by the city's myriad of DIY networks.

Raw guitar-based songwriting that is unafraid to find singular expression, a vinyl edition follows on August 18th.

Fräulein have turned their cut 'Breezy' into a stellar live highlight, a symbol of the manner in which Joni and Karsten's voices have grown together as one.

A song born out of pandemic boredom, 'Breezy' is about trying to locate motivation in trying circumstances.

Joni comments: “This song is being stuck in the house for months on end during the pandemic. Not being able to leave the house and every day being the same was making a massive dent in my mental health. I wasn’t investing time in the right things because I had no motivation to. I was wondering whether I’d feel like this forever.”

Karsten adds: “Joni and I went through the first lockdown together. During this time, we were both cooped up indoors and like many others, slowly going crazy. This (along with PJ Harvey’s drummer Rob Ellis) inspired my part in this track, with the unresolving drums intending to match the substance of Joni’s lyrics.”

Tune in now.

Fräulein will play London's Shacklewell Arms tonight (June 7th).
