Scots indie gentry Franz Ferdinand have revealed the tracklisting to their long-awaited third album ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ set for release on January 26th.
Franz Ferdinand emerged from the bohemian musical broth of Glasgow, carrying with them a bagful of chart bound anthems. Their single ‘Take Me Out’ rocketed to the Top Five in January 2004, and nothing was ever the same again for the band.
The group have kept fans waiting almost four years for the new album. Second album ‘You Could Have It So Much Better’ was released in 2005, and the band have taken their time to get focussed on recording again.
‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ was produced by Dan Carey, and contains some tracks already debuted live. The album opens with ‘Ulysses’, and closes with the now familiar ‘Katherine Kiss Me’.
