Franz Ferdinand have shared their new single ‘Hooked’.
The band’s new album ‘The Human Fear’ is out on January 10th, reuniting Franz Ferdinand with producer Mark Ralph. Sessions took place at AYR studios in Scotland, with their intense, focussed approach lingering on their trademark live energy.
Previous singles like ‘Audacious’and ‘Night Or Day’ have paved the way, and new track ‘Hooked’ is out now.
A potent descriptor of the delights on their incoming album, ‘Hooked’ could only come from one band – the title is perhaps apt, as it’s packed to the gunnels with nifty art-pop hooks.
All sharp edges and indie-disco grooves, ‘Hooked’ taps into the band’s foundations, while also looking outwards, and embracing The New.
