Frank Ocean has confirmed the long sought-after ‘Blonde’ re-stock.
The album was first released in 2016, and received an ultra-limited vinyl drop as part of that year’s Record Store Day festivities.
Immediately selling out, ‘Blonde’ has never returned to vinyl, meaning that the original pressing is one of Frank’s most sought-after rarities – prices on Discogs start at well over £200 before rising sharply.
Over the weekend Frank Ocean used Instagram to lay out plans for a re-stock of his web shop, including some fantastic (if pricy) items. Alongside these, you’ll be able to order a fresh pressing of ‘Blonde’ – split over 2LPs, the gatefold includes a lyrics insert and poster, alongside the record itself.
Posters and t-shirts feature a stylised photo of Frank Ocean sitting at a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop, the logos for his Blonded Radio show, and (curiously) an edited image of Succession actor Jeremy Strong.
