The much-loved project is helmed by François Marry; begun in Bristol, the group has shifted and evolved over time, in line with his own experiences, and travels.
Now very much rooted in his native France, Fránçois & The Atlas Mountains last released an album in 2021, with their sixth LP ‘Banane Blue’.

A swirling mesh of sound, the neat melodies are given an elasticity by Thomas de Pourquery’s innovative jazz influence.
