Francois & The Atlas Mountains are set to release new album ‘E Volo Love’ on January 23rd.
Francois & The Atlas Mountains are pretty special. The group first intruded on British audiences through their association with Fence, travelling to the Fife collective’s annual Anstruther bash Homegame.
Without any shadow of a doubt one of the finest live acts ClashMusic have set eyes on (although that could have been magnified by Homegame’s unique atmosphere), Francois & The Atlas Mountains are now focussed on their new album. Domino will add their muscle to the campaign, with ‘E Volo Love’ set to be released on January 23rd.
Matching French lyrics to African rhythms, the band’s distinctive songwriting is whimsically surreal with a real joyous side. Just sheer, un-repressed fun Francois & The Atlas Mountains will release lead single ‘Les Plus Beaux’ on January 23rd.

Francois & The Atlas Mountains are planning to bring their live show to the UK around the time of their debut album’s release. Coming highly recommended, the tour opens in Glasgow on January 22nd before travelling down to London for an album launch party.
Playing a one off show in Brighton on January 26th, the tour continues with a handful of shows around the UK. Finishing with a return to London, Francois & The Atlas Mountains will support King Creosote and Jon Hopkins at Shepherds Bush Empire on February 2nd.
