Foster The People aren't usually the sort of band you associate with outlandish conspiracy theories.

Catchy if harmless indie-pop melodies, sure, but the Australian band tend to leave things there.

The death of Jeffrey Epstein, though, has sparked some thoughts, and Foster The People have shared those thoughts with the world.

Writing on Twitter, the band stated their belief that Epstein's death in his jail cell wasn't suicide - it was a diversion.

The group wrote: "Have you seen photos of the body? it’s obviously not him. my guess is, epstein’s on a private plane to somewhere in the middle east getting prepped for plastic surgery right now. #EpsteinBodyDouble."

With their thoughts being ridiculed online, Foster The People then shared an info-graphic to back up their theory.
