'Dogrel' gains the final nod...

Fontaines D.C. have been named 6Music's Album Of The Year with their debut LP 'Dogrel'.

"Authentic, raw and honest, it is eclectic, original and a work of multifaceted expression..."

Following a full station-wide countdown, 6Music have now named 'Dogrel' as their Album Of The Year.

Fontaines D.C. told the station:

"It would mean a lot to win this title any year really, but this year in particular there have been a lot of really great, substantial bodies of work, and so for that reason we’re particularly chuffed. So thank you 6 Music for all the support."
