It's a faithful version of 'Darklands'...

Fontaines D.C. have recorded a cover of 'Darklands' by The Jesus And Mary Chain.

The Irish band will release new album 'A Hero's Death' this summer, re-uniting with producer Dan Carey at his South London studio.

Out shortly on Partisan, Fontaines D.C. managed to sneak a brand new cover out to the people at Radio X.

It's a take on 'Darklands' by Scottish group The Jesus And Mary Chain, the brooding title track of their 1987 album.

A faithful rendition, it's a neat nod by Fontaines D.C. to one of their formative influences.
