Math rock group Foals are set to play three shows in which the band will unveil material destined for their eagerly anticipated new album.
Emerging from the ever productive Oxford music scene, Foals released a string of acclaimed singles through 2007. Tracks such as ‘Hummer’ won the group a cult following, while a tour consisting of house parties didn’t do much harm either.
Debut album ‘Antidotes’ was released last year, and made a massive impact. Combining fluid math rock rhythms with indie songcraft, the record made the band hot property up and down the country.
In a new blog keyboard player Edwin Congreave promised new material at the upcoming shows. “We will be playing some new songs,” he wrote. “Highly energetic excellent good time party vibes. Of course. If we didn’t it’d be a fucking disgrace.”
Foals will play the following shows:

8 Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms
10 Brighton Concorde 2
