Left-field rapper Fly Anakin has detailed new project ‘Skinemaxxx (Side B)’.
The rapper shared his excellent project ‘Skinemaxxx (Side A)’ earlier this year, a frenetic burst of information designed to replicate the experience of channel hopping on a television.
‘Skinemaxxx (Side B)’ is the secondary side of the project, a parallel statement to the earlier EP. Out on July 28th via Lex Records, the material is produced in its entirety by fellow Mutant Academy collective member Foisey.
New single ‘Things Change’ is out now, and the immersive quality of the production is enhanced by Fly Anakin’s off-the-wall word choice, and a wonderful guest vocal from UK neo-soul artist – and Touching Bass luminary – Demae.
A full video by Spencer Young is out now, and it taps into the unique atmosphere of a hazy, rainy night in London.
