Florence + The Machine has shared a new career-spanning playlist.
The playlist moves from huge hits to deep cuts, a 39-track glimpse of an era-defining career. Florence + The Machine have moved from indie origins to maintain an international profile, playing some of the biggest venues in the land.
2022 saw the release of theatrical new album ‘Dance Fever’, with Florence + The Machine completing a massive European tour this summer. Those early songs are enjoying a second life, too – ‘Dog Days Are Over’ was featuring in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 at the personal request of director James Gunn.
Indeed, the high profile move has had another consequence – there’s an organic trend sweeping across TikTok utilising the song as a soundtrack.
This new playlist was pieced together by Florence Welch, and offers a personal look back at the project’s work.
