Floating Points Unveils ‘Kuiper’ EP

Check out a live version of the title cut...

Floating Points will release new EP 'Kuiper' on July 22nd.

The producer released debut album 'Elaenia' to widespread acclaim last year, with Sam Shepherd heading straight back into the studio.

New EP 'Kuiper' drops on July 22nd, with the producer commenting:

"Since starting a band to realise the music from my LP, it has sparked a deep interest in the band itself, and so Kuiper is the result of playing with Leo, Alex and Susumu. Each time we play it it's completely different. We set the scene with electronics, and some drum machines which forms the foundation to allow the unfurling of the rest of the track. The version on this EP – believe it or not – was recorded at 8am!"

A live version of the title cut has made its way online – tune in below.

Tracklisting:
A/1. Kuiper
B/2. For Marmish Part II
