American rap iconoclast Flo Milli has shared plans for new album ‘Fine Ho, Stay’.
The vivid talent blurs the lines between music and fashion, her expert mic control sitting at the core of her faculties. Recently sharing summer anthem ‘Rodeo (Remix)’, Flo is now plotting her next major project.
Out later this summer on RCA Records, new album ‘Fine Ho, Stay’ continues her journey. The incoming LP follows her exceptional debut album ‘You Still here, Ho ?’ which landed last summer, and the breakout 2020 mixtape ‘Ho, why is you here ?’.
Out now, new single ‘Fruit Loop’ is all jagged ragged and spartan production, putting you in mind of Missy’s future-facing late 90s bangers. YoungFyre sits in on production – following their combination on hit single ‘Conceited’ – and he draws on Flo’s indefatigable confidence.
Chandler Lass directs the video, which you can check out below.
Clash profiled Flo Milli in 2020, and she told us: “I wanted to emphasise having strength and a voice as a young female. I didn’t want to make everything about boys and instead learn to love yourself, and to love yourself no matter what. You can chase your dreams at a young age, and that’s what I wanted to put across to my listeners”.
