Out now, new single ‘Cosmic Scenes’ sits on a rock solid hip-hop beat, transposing those boom-bap instincts to something fresh, and distinctly British. There’s a subtle nod to the Soulquarian era in the production, an approach finessed by Greentea Peng’s majesterial vocal.
Pulsing with feeling, she lifts the song to the heavens, her lyric acting as a work of devotion. Greentea Peng sings: “I’m always living this life with one foot in, one foot out…”
