Oklahoma’s band of film making musical space cadets Flaming Lips have announced details of a deluxe version of their new DVD ‘Christmas On Mars’.
Long rumored, the film was finally screened in public earlier this year. The new DVD will bring their outlandish cinematic vision to the small screen, and the new deluxe version is set to contain yet more lunacy.
The package will contain the DVD, a soundtrack album, a popcorn box, a ‘Eat Your Own Spaceship’ bumper sticker, a replica ticket from the original screening, trading cards and a t-shirt. Phew! How will Santa fit all that on his sleigh?
In addition to this, there is also a vinyl version of the ‘Christmas On Mars’ score due for release. Containing all the music from the film, it will also have a bonus seven inch containing a stunning version of ‘Silent Night’ alongside a version of the Spacemen 3 classic ‘Lord Can You Hear Me’.
Flaming Lips release ‘Christmas On Mars’ on November 11th.
