First Aid Kit are back, with the Swedish group sharing new song 'It's A Shame'.
The group released their Columbia Records debut 'Stay Gold' back in 2014, garnering widespread acclaim and international success.
Very much a breakout moment, First Aid Kit are busy sculpting a following up and feel ready to share a new track.
'It's A Shame' is a gilded slice of pop-heavy Americana, part 'Blonde On Blonde' and part Gram Parsons, with added Scandinavian sugar.
Klara and Johanna explain: "We went to Los Angeles last spring and spent five weeks there writing. It was a tough time for the both of us. We were in this beautiful sunny place, but mostly felt sad and lonely. 'It's A Shame' is a song about the emptiness and desperation you feel after a relationship has come to an end. How you will go to great lengths just to numb the pain and feel less lonely."
Tune in now.
First Aid Kit will play a special show at London venue Shoreditch Town Hall on November 1st - tickets are on sale now.
