Fiona Apple has revealed more details about her new album ‘The Idler Wheel…’ due to be released on June 18th.
Fiona Apple has been silent for far too long. The songwriter has not completed a full length album since ‘Extraordinary Machine’ back in 2005, but sessions resumed last year.
Completing work on her new album, Fiona Apple recently unveiled the title. Written in the form of a poem, her new full length will be called:
‘THE IDLER WHEEL IS WISER
THAN THE DRIVER OF THE SCREW
AND WHIPPING CORDS WILL SERVE YOU MORE
THAN ROPES WILL EVER DO’
Set to be released on June 18th, ‘The Idler Wheel…’ – as it has promptly been re-christened – will contain the song ‘Every Single Night’. Due to be given a standalone single release on June 10th, you can listen to the track below:
