Danish group Fever Ray have stunned fans with news that they are set to giveaway a new live album.
Better known as the lead singer of secretive Scandinavians The Knife, Karin Dreijer Andersson recently stepped out of the shadows with her own side project Fever Ray.
Dark, brooding and moody Fever Ray’s debut album was a huge critical success. Working with a series of guest musicians the singer crafted unusual new material that echoed her previous work while looking forward to new endeavours.
Released earlier this year, Fever Ray followed the release of the debut album with a series of very special tour dates. Keeping busy, Andersson also agreed to guest star on a number of tracks for the forthcoming Royksopp.
Due to enter the fold with The Knife, Fever Ray are set to have one last blast before departing. The group have arranged to give away a complete live album with this Saturday’s (October 24th) copy of The Guardian.
Teaming up with Rabid Records and Cooperative Music, Fever Ray are set to release a live version of their debut album.
Due to sit alongside an exclusive interview with the band, Fever Ray will give away a show recorded in Sweden on March 28th.
Tracks included on the download are:
If I Had A Heart
Triangle Walks
Concrete Walls
Seven
I’m Not Done
Now’s The Only Time I Know
