Fever Ray, one of 2009’s most exciting talents, has announced release dates for a new single as well as a double-disc edition of her self-titled album.
Fever Ray aka Karin Dreijer Andersson, one half of celebrated Swedish electro duo The Knife, will release a single ‘Seven’ on 5th October, with the re-released debut following on 12th October.
Released via Rabid Records/Cooperative Music, the double disc edition of the album will feature two covers the band have performed during their live performances as well as DVD containing every Fever Ray video released so far.
‘Seven’ is set to become the fourth single to be taken from the album and will be available as a 12” and download. Included on the release are remixes from the likes of Crookers, C.S.S., Marcel Dettman, Martyn, Nic Chacona, Real Daniel and Seth Troxler.
The stark, seductive sonic landscapes found on ‘Fever Ray’ won the artist deserved praise from all quarters following its release in March, and the recent UK tour garnered yet more rave reviews.
