Felixthe1st Drops Addictive UK Rap Burner ‘2 Wardrobes”

"That was the first song I ever recorded..."

Felixthe1st has shared his addictive new single ‘2 Wardrobes’.

The UK rap riser has that viral flair, with each release seeming to connect with a massive audience. His recent ‘Own Brand Freestyle’ was a stormer, emphasising his lyrical flair and his effervescent personality.

Out now, ‘2 Wardrobes’ was actually an early cut, and it taps into his roots. Hailing from one of his very first studio sessions, it’s the sound of an artist working outside the rules – as he’s too young to pay them any attention.

A fun, ultra-colourful UK rap workout, his innate pop suss is aligned to a deep awareness of underground tropes. Expertly balancing those two aspects of his personality, ‘2 Wardrobes’ feels like a hit in waiting.

He comments…

“‘2WARDROBES’ was the first song I ever recorded – I reached out to a few producers and people that I messed with and really liked Tokyo’s stuff, he did a lot of stuff with Sam Wise and I was defo tryna tap in. I reached out to him and he was like ‘yeah it’s cool to set up a session’ and it was literally just then and there and I literally just freestyled some words.”

“That was the first song I ever recorded and it was just sitting there and I listened to it for ages. It was literally just a vibe and my one moment to record, so I thought you know what, let’s just have some fun and show some personality.”

Tune in now.
