felicita has unveiled a collaboration with Hong Kong artist Young Queenz, in the form of the new track ‘Beast’.
‘Beast’ is a continued exploration of innovative sound for felicita, who has already established themself as a pioneering name in contemporary music. The London-based record producer and DJ is a firm favourite of label/collective PC Music, continuing to reinvent the boundaries of pop music.
‘Beast’ is one such eclectic distortion, with ultra-modern instrumentation that grapples with electronic clicks and twangs saturated in forceful percussion.
Headphones are recommended to reveal the full potential of the track’s meticulous panning, amplifying Young Queenz’s vigorous rap cut. The bilingual talent spits and screams both Chinese and English lyrics, breathless and torrid, clamouring for attention amongst felicita’s avant-garde production.
The release is accompanied by a macabre, yet enchanting, visualiser, created by Shanghai-based motion designer Kynan Puru Watt.
