Toronto’s Fucked Up celebrated the stateside release of their new album ‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’ by playing a massive 12 hour show in New York, it has emerged.
The band’s second full length album, ‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’ has seen Fucked Up cross over, gaining some measure of mainstream recognition. The US launch party for their album was a truly marathon affair – lasting for twelve hours!
Fucked Up played a Manhattan boutique, and brought along some friends to help them out. The show kicked off at 2pm and saw guest appearances from the likes of Moby and Vivian Girls. Later on the group were joined by Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, as well as Dinosaur Jr’s legendary guitarist J Mascis.
‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’, Fucked Up’s second full length album, is available now via Matador Records.
