Canadian band Fucked Up have been one of the surprise success stories of the year, and the band are set to take their stunning live show to the UK soon.
An underground secret in their native Canada for some years, Fucked Up have honed their live show to the point of messily destructive perfection. Album ‘The Chemistry Of Common Life’ was a sensation, perhaps the first hardcore album in aeons to successfully expand the genre’s blueprint.
The band have played a number of memorable gigs recently, including a very special stateside show to launch their album. Tired of hearing other groups play small sets Fucked Up decided to just keep on playing. And playing. After an unbelievable twelve hours they stopped, and unbelievably some of the audience demanded an encore.
