Father John Misty, Regina Spektor, The Libertines (And More) Contribute To Adam Green Tribute

It's tacked with heavy-hitters...

A new album saluting the work of Adam Green is in the works.

Is the New York artist about to have a moment? Few deserve it more. With seminal alt-folk duo The Moldy Peaches re-uniting for a global tour, Adam Green’s work is having a light shone on it, with fellow artists pausing to pay their dues.

Incoming tribute album ‘Moping In Style’ features a raft of Adam Green favourites re-worked, and the tracklist is laden with heavy hitters. So, expect all-new recordings from Father John Misty, Regina Spektor, Devendra Banhart, Lou Barlow, Sean Lennon, The Lemonheads, The Cribs, The Libertines, and many more.

Out on December via Capitane Records, it’s a 24-track love letter to one of modern music’s most distinctive voices. The first track to emerge is a new take on ‘That Fucking Feeling’ by Sean Ono Lennon, a pleasingly faithful take on a fantastic song.
