Fat White Family have used a racial slur in a new social media post.
The band decided to comment on Boris Johnson's recent statement regarding Libya, in which he said the principality of Sirte could become "the next Dubai—the only thing they’ve got to do is clear the dead bodies away and then they’ll be there."
Fat White Family responded by posting an all caps statement on Twitter and Facebook, stating: "ONLY A PEPPERING OF SAND NIGGER CARCASSES TO SHIFT AND WE'VE GOT OURSELVES A NEW DUBAI GENTLEMEN! ONWARDS!!!"
The Facebook post was then edited to include a direct reference to Boris Johnson's speech, before then being deleted.
It still appears on Twitter.

Lias and Nathan Saoudi from the South London band are both of Algerian dissent, however the comment has some offence online.
Lias has posted a further statement on Facebook, reiterating the context within which he was speaking.
