Fanfarlo are to give their ‘Reservoir’ debut album a full release on their own label on September 28th.
Peter Katis (Interpol, The National) produced the 11-track album which was originally available as a $1 download from the band’s website earlier this year. It was also made available as a lavish limited edition box set exclusively sold in Rough Trade stores where all 1000 copies sold out within a week.
Led by writer and vocalist Simon Balthazar, the band have released 5 singles through credible UK labels such as Moshi Moshi, Fortuna Pop and White Heat.
The new version will receive a more conventional release on CD and vinyl as well as a special limited edition box set, beautifully packaged with 8 additional songs, expanded artwork and a board game. These will be made available in stores across the UK on 28th of September. The tracklisting is as follows:
