Fanfarlo have revealed more details about their forthcoming second album ‘Rooms Filled With Light’.
A multi-national group, Fanfarlo call London home. Recorded in the United States, debut album ‘Reservoir’ was a fantastic introduction to their songwriting; expansive yet succinct, the material was adult without losing its sense of innocence.
Recently re-grouping to focus on a follow up, Fanfarlo travelled to Wales. Ben Allen oversaw proceedings, with the new material set to be gathered on upcoming album ‘Rooms Filled With Light’.
Due to be released in early 2012, Fanfarlo recently previewed the album with the single ‘Deconstruction’. Appropriately, the band then re-crafted the track as the fifteen minute re-imagining ‘Reconstruction’.

‘Rooms Filled With Light’ is set to be released early next year, with frontman Simon Balthazar recently commenting: “To me the record is really about what a weird and intense experience it is to just be alive and to try to make sense of the modern world with all its bewildering pressures and possibilities”.
Meanwhile, Fanfarlo are set to preview their second album with a one off show in London. Taking place on November 21st, tickets for the concert at the city’s Cargo venue are on sale now.
