FaltyDL has shared two new songs.
The producer signalled his return a few weeks back, detailing his new album ‘A Nurse To My Patience’. Out on November 11th, it ends a break in his career, with the electronic figure taking time to relocate his passions.
He explains: “My last album ‘Heaven Is For Quitters’ was a mountain I had to climb, and when I reached the top, I realised I wasn’t all that happy. I knew I needed to be honest with myself and what I wanted to present to the world.”
Ahead of the release, FaltyDL has shared two new track. ‘Berlin’ is a fluid tech-leaning roller, while ‘God Light’ finds the producer aligning with Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.
“’God Light’ is about doing the work to better yourself, however difficult it may be, and ‘Berlin’ is about going on tour, getting high, being Jewish, anxious and transcending your own identity. It’s also about the constant eb and flow of one’s ego. The ability to be your own critic and cheerleader at the same time…”
