Factory Floor Plot Self-Titled Debut Album

It's due on September 9th...

Factory Floor are set to release their self-titled debut album through DFA on September 9th.

Well, this has been a long time coming… Factory Floor have been active since 2005, initially stumbling through several phases of identity until they reached their current line up in 2009. Then suddenly, something clicked.

The 12 inch 'Two Different Ways' seemed to indicate that something special was happening, with Factory Floor playing a series of ferocious, enlightening shows. Working at their London base, the band began patiently stockpiling material and exploring new directions.

Debut album 'Factory Floor' will be released on September 9th, with DFA taking the honours. Label boss Jonathan Galkin is obviously thrilled at the news, and recalled his first experience of the band. "It had a presence to it that was the same feeling I had when I saw say MBV in 1991 or Black Dice in 2001. It was just… exhilaratingly full and loud and relentlessly rhythmic… sonically it came at you and attacked you."

Here's 'Two Different Ways'.

'Factory Floor' is set to be released on September 9th. Tracklisting:

1. Turn It Up
2. Here Again
3. One
4. Fall Back
5. Two
6. How You Say
7. Two Different Ways
