Face The Consequences

Star-Studded Charity Night Announced

A host of indie stars have united to raise money for the homeless charity Crisis.

Artists such as Paul Weller, Graham Coxon, Supergrass and Dirty Pretty Things will share the same stage, in what will surely be one of the best bills of the year. In aid of homeless charity Crisis, the groups have recorded a track together based around the parlour game of “Consequence”, where each person writes a line on a piece of paper without reading what has come before, or knowing what will come next.

Using Paul Epworth as producer, the track was pieced together layer by layer to create a rich, symphonic pop masterpiece that Phil Spector would be proud of. Featuring a host of well known musicians, the charity have also recruited some of their own members to appear on the track, which is due to be released in March. You can watch a video about the making of the track here.

The supergroup was put together by Crisis ambassador Pearl Lowe. A benefit gig will take place at The Roundhouse, London and will feature all of the artists on the track, as well as a few special guests. This day long celebration of indie rock begins at 1pm and continues until the wee, small hours.

Consequences Live takes place on March 2nd in The Roundhouse, London.
