Radiohead recently fulfilled their contractual obligations to EMI, and the label have responded by announcing plans for a ‘Best Of’ collection.
Perhaps the most important British band of modern times, Radiohead (and through association, EMI) have a hugely acclaimed back catalogue with virtually every release becoming a bona fide classic. The band revealed on Canadian TV that a ‘Best Of’ is planned for April / May to coincide with a world tour by the band.
There are currently no further details on tracklisting etc although Clashmusic.com feels obliged to offer sympathy to the record label drone employed to whittle Radiohead’s oeuvre down to a mere 12 tracks.
