We Are Scientists have handed new track 'Dumb Luck' to Clash – listen to it below.
We Are Scientists are changing. The band have a new label, and a new appetite for making music – trying all manner of experiments in the process. What comes out will be unexpected.
Upcoming EP 'Business Casual' drops on October 14th, containing five brand new tracks. Keith Murray and Chris Cain worked in a number of different studios, with Claudius Mittendorfer overseeing two tracks at New York's Atomic Heart studio.
'Good Answer' and a soothing rendition of 'Take My Breath Away' (no, seriously) followed, before the band decided to rock out. Chris Coady over saw 'Return The Favor' and 'Dumb Luck' – both of which display the band's ability to play it straight and turn up the volume when it is required.
Ahead of the release, Clash is pleased to offer the exclusive stream of 'Dumb Luck' before anyone else. Opening with flailing, proto-metal guitar lines, this is visceral stuff from the New Yorkers.
Pounding drums and screeching vocals, We Are Scientists have rarely seemed to alive, so alert.
Listen to it now.
'Business Casual' is set to be released on October 14th.
