Fanfarlo are gearing up to release new EP 'The Sea' and play a one off London show.
Led by Simon Balthazar, Fanfarlo's debut album 'Reservoir' rocketed onto the Clash stereo back in 2009. Spending time crafting a follow up, the London based group re-emerged last year with 'Rooms Filled With Light'.
Lyrically, the album played with themes of evolution – both personal and physical – and found Fanfarlo embracing new sounds, new methods of songwriting.
New EP 'The Sea' continues these themes, with Balthazar adding in shades of 80s synth pop, as well as an epic vision. New track 'A Distance' is a case in point: both lyrically and musically suggesting vast landscapes, it finds the group unleashing their inner Springsteen.

Fanfarlo have also confirmed plans for a one off London show. Taking place at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on October 1st, tickets for the show are on sale now.
