Liverpool based songwriter Eugene McGuinness has been a busy boy confirming a number of live appearances ahead of his new single ‘Fonz’.
Remember the Fonz? He was pretty cool. Whenever he wanted music he would hit the jukebox in Al’s Diner and suddenly the latest rock ‘n’ roll hit would emerge.
Eugene McGuinness has a new song which would suit Al’s jukebox down to the ground. Taken from his debut album ‘Fonz’ is a lilting piece of acoustic pop, which is due to be released on February 23rd.
To launch the single the songwriter is set to play a gig with Esser in The Macbeth, London on February 20th. Playing with a full band, this is just the first breeze in a whirlwind of activity from the star.
McGuinness will also be playing a special showcase event at Rough Trade East with Ex Lovers. Limited tickets are available for this unique event.
In addition to this, the Liverpool singer has also confirmed a slot at SXSW and when his plane lands back at Heathrow he will grab his six string and head out on the road with The Rumble Strips. Phew!
