Liverpool based songwriter Eugene McGuinness is one of the most exciting talents to emerge in the past few years, and excited music fans will be pleased to learn that his self-titled debut album will be released on October 13th.
Last year’s mini-album “The Early Learnings Of…” alerted music lovers to Eugene McGuinness’ unique talent. With only eight tracks, the mini-album was a wonderful primer, containing sublime pop melodies and an acidic sense of humour.
McGuinness’ full-length debut is a varied affair, containing the post-punk clatter of “Fonz” as well as the 30s style balladeering of “Those Black And White Movies”.
