'Long Forgotten Boy' gets re-worked
Night Works

Erol Alkan has stepped in to fool around with Night Works' 'Long Forgotten Boy'.

Phantasy Sound head and dance veteran Erol Alkan has got his masterful hands on the latest single from Night Works. The bands debut LP of experimental indie-pop 'Urban Heat Island', unleashed by Loose Lips, gets a total rebrand courtesy of EA.

Twisting the cut into a silky, club-friendly eight-minuter, the DJ / producer proves exactly why he deserves his crown as king of the rework. Primarily emerging as a choral-heavy, slow builder, Erol stretches out ‘Long Forgotten Boy’ three-fold. By placing vocal chops over a frenetic skittering beat, he fires us slap-bang into a glitzy roller disco.

The rework will be arriving on limited wax on March 18th via Phantasy, with the flip spot going to Daniel Avery's remix of 'The Eveningtime'.
