Danish artist Erika de Casier has announced the release of her third album, ‘Still’, out February 21st via 4AD.
In 2021, Erika released ‘Sensational’, a heady mix of programmed RnB, garage and bossa notes. Since then, she’s performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world, written for K-pop stars NewJeans, and featured on dance tracks by Mura Masa and Shygirl.
New album ‘Still’, featuring Blood Orange and Floridian rap duo They Hate Change, sees Erika come into her own as not just a producer but a storyteller; building on her signature noughties-tinged, retro-futurist formula, gesturing towards more lucid world-building whilst preserving the playfulness of her earlier releases.
With the album announce comes lead single ‘Lucky’, a moonlit mix of sweet coos, dreamy chords and pacey breakbeats.
