Enny Vows ‘No More Naija Men’ On Her Emphatic New Single

"Conversations on interracial and intercultural love..."

Enny has shared new single ‘No More Naija Men’.

Out now, it follows her fantastic ‘Champagne Problems’, a potent bubbler that spawned an electrifying remix featuring vital UK drill talent Unknown T.

‘No More Naija Men’ is Enny at her most coy and playful, with her girl-next-door exterior masking a carefully thought out discussion on “interracial and intercultural love”. A song about falling hard and being let down, it finds the South London artist speaking from the heart.

Speaking on the track, ENNY says

I had writer’s block at the end of 2021. Then I had my first  session with Emil, he’d been playing through some sick beats. Then, I hear these beautiful bongo drums alongside four simple chords. I was sold. The head bopping and writing began.

This song is a processing of things observed and felt. Conversations on interracial and intercultural love. And the ultimate conclusion that Nigerian men are mad. I want to keep alive the art of rapping and bring listeners into an unfamiliar yet familiar sound.

As ever with Enny, her melodic edge shines through, and ‘No More Naija Men’ stands as one of her most contagious, insistent works yet. Otis Dominique directs the full video, which you can catch below.
